5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this sled!, October 29, 2010

I bought three sleds for my grandchildren last year. It was the perfect gift and it was easy to push in the snow. The grandchildren loved it. One grandchild already had another sled that someone gave them, and they were not happy with it because the baby could not sit up straight with it and cried the whole time. It is a european made product, sturdy like a Little Tykes Product. It was worth the etra money that I paid for it. It will be used for years to come.

We bought this sled as a Christmas present for my daughter's when she was 1 year old and used it a lot that first year. Now that she is 2, we have continued to use it when it snows enough. She loves going for sled rides and we have found the sled very safe and durable.

Keep in mind, this is not the type of sled you will be pushing your kid down a snow covered hill in because it's meant for babies and toddlers and therefore should only be pushed or pulled by an adult.

The only downside I've found is that it's a bit difficult to pull or push if there isn't enough snow on the ground or over sidewalks where the snow has melted. Nonetheless, my daughter loves this sled and it's great exercise for mom. I'm sure we will be able to use it for at least a couple more years with her and then again with her little sister for a few more after that.

Bottomline, it's a quality toy and good investment.

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect all around sled!, October 14, 2011
This review is from: Eurosled Snow Baby Sled (Apparel)
I found this sled today in the back bottom corner of a consignment store for $15!! I thought what a great way to walk & shoe with my son this winter. He hopped right in as soon as we got home and we tried it out on the wet grass (no snow yet). I think he would have slept in it, if I let him. It fits him well (he's 3 ft tall), his feet just hang over the edge of the seat, so he has plenty of growing room. There is plenty of room to pack blankets around him. He does sit reclined a bit, but in a comfortable way. My husband (6 ft tall) could push it, but it is a bit low for him. I'm 5'6 and it fits me comfortably. If you use the string, you do pull the front up off the ground, you'd need a different set up to pull from the front. Can't wait till our first snowy sleigh ride!!!
