My 6 year old grandson anxiously awaited the arrival of snow to use it. Unfortunately on his 1st trip down the hill, both the front and back bindings broke making the board unusable. The bindings are held in place by "plastic" pieces that go from the top of the board, thru holes and into slots side on the under side. This particular version of snowboard (or 'snowboogie' as printed on the board) is awful! It does not go in the snow. We tried it on a varitey of snow conditions and it just wouldn't slide - even on a steep hill with packed snow. It sticks instead of slides. My kids were very disappointed and so was I. My husband tried and tried to get it to go down the hill but the thing wouldn't slide. My other 2 children have cheaper snow boards that work just fine, not sure why this was designed so poorly. Will be returning tomorrow! |
