His only complaint is that sometimes the snowball breaks before he launches it, but that could be due to the snow being too powder like. Otherwise with the constent snowfall he is having fun using them.  Whamo solo snow ball blaster, By Linda L Sikkenga (Muskegon, MI United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Whamo Solo Snow Ball Blaster (Sports) Product comes with snowball mold on top... take your snowball out of the mold, insert it into the ice cream scoop looking thing inside the gun, and grab the other end of the scoop and pull back and let go to launch the snowball.In proper hands, with enough strength(you are pulling back surgical tubing), the snowball will go 30 or so yards. If the snow isn't the right type, when you release the snowball it may break apart. Think of this gun as more of a catapult than gun....there is no precision aiming. Lastly, I have a 7 and 10 year old....neither one can pull it back far enough to launch it more than 10 or 15 yards.
